I love babies … I really, really do. With a lot of my friends and family adding these little munchkins to their families, I have more than enough opportunity to hand-make items for them.
Two more W.I.P.s to my already long list will be this crochet blanket — Rainbow Ripple Baby Blanket.
These shouldn’t take as long as my Dr. Who scarf — crochet just goes faster for me regardless of the project. My goal is to have these done and shipped to the recipients by Christmas although my girl munchkin aka “Flash” isn’t here yet. 😀
I’m thinking of adding black to the colour scheme for my boy munchkin but I’m not 100% sure yet.
It must be the cooling of the weather and the coming of Fall that has me going crazy with all these decor and yarn projects. 🙂
I love that blanket pattern!
Isn’t it awesome?!!!! Y’all know I can’t crochet in a straight line so in addition to the pattern producing such a great F.O., this should be easy for me to finish. 🙂
Those are so pretty, I love the color choices. I love the fact that you aren’t just using the typical baby colors. I do the same thing, when making something for a baby. I’m sure the recipients will cherish those for many years. I still have my baby blanket, 41 years later. 😉
Thanks Opal. I don’t have my baby blanket but I’m hoping these ones will be well loved. 🙂
