Brought to You by: WTH Productions!!!

Lemme say this now and categorically — if any of you meet any man that I’m dating exclusively and get to know him — tell him this: DO NOT, for the love of all things holy, EVER send me a singing telegram when we have a fight!  I’m as serious as a heart-attack.

Noone knew that the Executive Assistant and her guy broke up.  He tried to get back together on Facebook (how much do I HATE thee FB?  A million-fold!!!!).  That didn’t work!  What did he do?  Insert singing Elvis!  Queue down-hill response!!!!  She was sooooooooooo embarassed.  She cussed and cried when Elvis left.  Right now she’s gone outside to smoke a couple of cigarettes to cool off.  Oye, oye, oye!!!!

I empathised with the young woman but I had tears in my eyes.  Singing Elvis was so empathic with the rendition.

Song: Baby Come Back — Hall & Oates

Spending all my nights, all my money, goin’ out on the town
Doin’ anything just to get you off of my mind
But when the morning comes
I’m right back where I started again
And tryin’ to forget you is just a waste of time

Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can’t live without you

All day long, wearing a mask of false bravado
Tryin’ to keep up a smile that hides the tears
But as the sun goes down, I get that empty feeling again
How I wish to God that you were here

Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can’t live without you

Now that I put it all together
Give me the chance to make you see
Have you used up all the love in your heart?
Nothing left for me? Is there nothing left for me?

Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; (listen, baby) you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can’t live without you
I was wrong, and I just can’t live…

Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can’t live without you

Now everyone knows that she broke up with him.  Her personal business is now fodder for office jokes.  He might have thought it was cute but that was a “aw helllllllllll naw” move.

Beautiful song but the context of that rendition — errr, WTH?!!!!!!
