I Make Sweaters & Sometimes I Make Bread Too

The title says it all!!!

I finished my baby sweater!!!  😀  I made some minor mistakes but they don’t take away from the the F.O.  I love it and am already swatching for a grown-up sweater.  It was great to see what I read about seamless top-down sweater knitting come together so well.  I feel like such a knitter now but I’m not going to talk anymore … lemme break out the pichas!!!  😀

Project Details

  • Project Title: 5 hour Baby Boy Sweater
  • Designer: Gail Bable
  • Yarn: Hobby Lobby, I Love That Yarn.  Worsted weight in Sunburst Gold
  • Modifications: None
  • Things I’d do differently: Knit sleeves in a round since I hate the slip stitch seaming.  It’s too bulky.   When I do this again, I’ll have to do the stitches under the arm a lot tighter so I wouldn’t have any visible holes.
  • Ravelled here.

I was so ecstatic, I made a braided bread.  I used Pillsbury Cresent Rolls dough, tossed some veggies, chopped peppers, chopped onions/chives, buffalo sauce, minced sausage and shredded mozzarella/cheddar cheese mix together and boom, I got this:
