Gratitude Sunday: Thank You!

I think by now most of you know that I’ll be going for surgery on Friday coming (May 23rd).  My arm issue that I’ve been dealing with since October has turned out to be a bigger deal than everyone suspected.  So on Friday, I’ll be going under anesthesia and the “knife”.  LOLOL!

Usually, I’m okay with these things since I’ve had a number of major surgeries before but for some reason, I’m getting quite anxious.  I suppose it’s all the deaths of friends and family members from the beginning of the year, work stress and just having to deal with all this without my mom.  The anxiety has been messing with my mind today.  But every time I get anxious, God has shown me that He’ll be with me — in His own way and also through reminders of you all.  I’m being reminded of all the encouragement and support you’ve provided for me.  During this time and over the years that you’ve been reading this blog.

So today, rather than my typical gratitude post, I’ll leave you with this video.  I saw this before on Andi’s blog and when I typed in search words “thank you” on Vimeo, it was one of the first ones that appeared in the search results.   I figured that must be a sign.  A sign to let you know how much I appreciate you all.  A sign to let you know that today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for you.

So here’s to you all and thank you for your support, prayers and encouragement.

    1. Thank you so very much for checking in. Last week was a blur but this week has started much better. There’s still discomfort but I’m encouraged that even that will end soon.

Thank so much for your prayers and well-wishes. ❤

  1. You know you’re in my prayers, more so today as you have the procedure. God is with you at all times and you have many loved ones near and far that are praying that you have a speedy recovery. You know, if your health care practitioner tells you to lay off crafting while you heal, you better listen!!! 🙂

  2. You are more than welcome, and thank you as well for the light of love and care you are in all of our lives. Thinking of you and wishing you all the best during this up-coming week. ❤

  3. You are definitely in our prayers. All will go fine! But yes it is really tough not to get anxious even when you know in your heart and your head it will be okay.Breathe and pray. And have a small piece of chocolate. Or two. Always helps me 🙂 BIg hugs!
