Crochet Mood Blanket 2014: February Update

She’s getting bigger!!!! I’m three stripes behind because I ran out of yarn. Ack!! I . MUST. CATCH. UP. because the rounds are already getting long. I was hoping to do so when I went on vacation but since that’s been delayed and I don’t know when I can go, I have to catch up during this coming week.

I need to add red, magenta and an orange “stripes”. This update is part of my crafty 52 week project. The details are here and I did an easier to visualize key:

I promise that this is not the only project you’ll see on the blog for the year. I promise you that there’ll be more to look at by next week’s end especially since my goal is to really work this list for the year.

  I do believe you’re right. Now that the rows are getting longer, when I get tempted to change the design, I don’t because I’m loving it more and more with each stripe.

That blanket is gonna be a fabulous throw or bed comforter by the end of the year. Still chugging away at this coworker’s baby blanket. I can’t wait for it to finish.

  I hear you. I have two other baby blankets to chugg away at. One is waaaaaaaaaaaay overdue — the baby’s going to be a year old in the summer — and the other is due in May. It’s blanket insanity right now. LOLOL! 😀

I would like to be a part of the this blanket. I would like to donate some yarn to the cause. are you using acrylic or natural wool? Please let me know what colors you would like/need so i can pull some out.

  I’m using anything that’s machine washable. I have some acrylic in there and some wool/acrylic blend. For colours, I’ll take the same or shades of the colours already in the key.
