Engaging in knitting shenanigans on public transportation. Creating awesomeness and converting non-knitters to the yarn side on NYC MTA. Est. 2013. 😀
Still working on my new project. The colours have been getting a lot of attention while I knit on the train ride to and from work. Today, the project and Pablo allowed me to introduce a fellow rider to knitting and Ravelry. I couldn’t have asked for anything better than that.
My goal is to finish this project this week. I think I might by tomorrow night! Feels good to use my hands this way again. It’s been too long.
Hey Pablo!!!
I’m finally getting a chance to use the stitch markers I bought from Rhinebeck. Haven’t knitted publicly on the bus/subway in a while. My rides are too short. It’s either at home or during lunch breaks.
He says to tell you hi! LOLOL!
Knitting on the train is a huge deal for me. You know I used to get anxiety about how I worked my needles but now … I don’t even care. I’m getting it done and I like subway knitting. Time for me to do some work at home on my current project so it’s time to find another project for that ridiculously long commute I have every day! 😀
I like those colors together and who couldn’t love Pablo!
Are you making it for yourself of someone else? The checkered cowl I made this summer that had my name on it, somehow is around my daughters neck. The girl is ten years old and can already fit some of my clothes! She’s a tall string bean and I’m a short little munchkin. 🙂 She’ll pass my height before next year I’m sure.
This one is for me, me, me!!! It’s been a while since I made something for myself and I can’t wait to wear it!
LOLOL! She’ll take over your closet like we did our mother’s when we were that age and growing! 😀
Aww, Pablo. I’ve been feeling like it’s time for me to use much more interesting stitch markers.
That’s how come I ended up with him. I kept seeing all these cuties stitchmarkers around the net then decided I should make some of my own. 😀
