You Should Know You Have A Problem …

when you start hearing things.  At 4:00 am in the morning.  About knitting!!!!

What do you do when you wake up at 4:00 am in the morning and the first thing you “hear” after you open your eyes is that you’re lazy with your knitting?!!!  What?!!!  Who me?!!!!  So what if I haven’t picked up my needles or hooks for three weeks?  Who said that?!!!!  Gedoutta’ere?!!!

Trust me … I heard it plain as day.  This is a true story.  😀

Whoever said that … in that “voice” … just so you know … I’m starting this Chalice blanket for my bff’s soon to arrive son tonight.  He’s supposed to be here on July 8th so I have more than enough time to get it done.

My husband swears that I talk in my sleep about knitting. I think he said that I was mumbling P2, cable 8, P2 the other night. So you are not alone in your madness. I love that baby chalice blanket. I made one a few years ago and would really like to make another one as a lap banket. Be careful though, you might be hearing lace instructions in your head!

OMGoodness … I thought I was a weirdo. I really did. 😀 But I’m glad I have company and great company too with our yarndreamingvoicehearing selves. 😀 This morning’s “voice” was talking about dpns and socks. 🙄

As for the blanket, I narrowed down the yarn last night and I’m going to start it today or tomorrow night. This is a little intimidating for me, but I’m going to do it. I see lots of lifelines in my future with this project. 😀
