So … what had happened was … after I came back from my vacation last Thursday, I cut my right index finger. I mean really bad. I went back and forth on if I should post what the cut look like but I didn’t think I should gross anyone out. 😛
That means that my Dolores Park cowl is still at the point it was last week and the crochet blanket I wanted to start for my cousin who’s having a baby in April will have to wait until my cut gets better in another week or two. Yep, that’s how deep the cut is. 😦
So … I know it sucks … but here’s Dolores in her “same as last week WIP” state. 😀
and the pattern photo of the blanket I want to try.
It seems easy enough for a crochet newbie like me. Although the stitch pattern is not actually a beginner one, I like a challenge.
Pop over to Tami’s to see the other WIP Wednesday projects. There’s never a lack of inspiration — knit or crochet.
You can totally make that blanket!! Looks like a good starter pattern and if you need any help, just ask! 🙂
Awww Heather, thanks so much for your encouragement and your offer to help. I really appreciate it. 🙂
I hope that your finger heals quickly so that you can get back to your crafting. That crochet blanket pattern is adorable. It looks like it will be a fun challenge.
I’m on the mend!!!!! 😀 Yay!!! I might even try knitting or crocheting tomorrow.
Yikes! Hope your finger heals soon!
It was ridiculous — blood everywhere!!!! I’m hoping that it heals soon too … I miss my sticks and hooks.
I hope your finger gets better soon!
Thanks Susan. I’m hoping it gets better soon too. Thanks for dropping by. 🙂
