The weather is cooling down. We’re getting ready for hibernation mode. I’m close to being done with my current job. I don’t want to fall into a pattern of sleeping, eating, repeat while I look for another job. So it’s time to get serious. I typically lose inches before I start losing weight and I’m fine with that. This time around, no scale, just a tape measure and how my clothes fit. My biceps and thighs usually get bigger from muscle, I’m fine with that too.
With some serious life changes afoot, I’m back on the ball with consistent exercise as well.
I promise I wouldn’t leave you all for so long next time. 😳
Who’s with me? And what’s your plan?
You will make your goal, you seem motivated. I like to hit the gym or the park around the same time each day that way your mind don’t mess with you lol exercise is habit forming 🙂
I love that you said that — it is habit forming. Like any other, the more we do it the more automatic it becomes!
true!! exercising is fun 🙂
Brave girl!! I’ve plateaued over the past 3-4 months and just can’t seem to shift weight or inches. So demotivating… which leads to a confession that over the summer I let myself slide 😦 I’ve got a pair of jeans that I used to be able to get into without breaking into a sweat (!!). My aim is to fit into them once again before the end of the year.
Yes!!!! We can do this!
I figure if people bigger than me can come clean … hey! I need to do the same. 😀
You’re a brave girl to post your numbers! It sounds like you’re doing it the smart way! I lost 40lbs 1.5 years ago using weight watchers and walking… and live in fear of gaining it back! 🙂
good luck to you… you can do it!!
Thank you Kate. I’ve done WW before and lost weight but I want to do this without having to count points and food. That becomes tedious for me and I inevitably fall off the wagon.
You did awesome losing 40lbs. My goal is half that so I’m staying inspired by you.
I’m with you and in fact have already started. I don’t do a scale either, I just go by how my clothes fit. I am walking/running/bike riding six days a week and eating green and juicing for my meals. I am feeling great, but really wish I could sleep better at night, menopause left me wide awake 🙂 I like that you took measurements and will have to do the same thing.
Have a great weekend!
I think I’ll be incorporating juicing every day. Maybe as my final meal for the day. You’re doing a great job staying healthy and fit Tracey!!!
