Who wouldn’t want to receive a present wrapped like the ones above?
With the official start of the holidays beginning this week, many of us are now in over-drive. Whether we’re going the hand-made route or the store bought one, we don’t have much time left to make, finish or buy the gifts we want to share.
If you’re like me, the part that suffers most with gift giving is the packaging. I’m not going to lie — I don’t think about it. To me, wrapping paper is wrapping paper and the recipients want what’s inside the wrapping (no matter how poorly done), they don’t want the paper! LOLOL!!! You don’t have to agree with me, that’s just my lazy rationale! 😀 However, if you’re like my cousin, wrapping/packaging should be just as thoughtful as deciding what gift to get.
With that thought in mind, I’ve found some goodies for you Stuff on Sunday readers.
First up, from artist Oana Befort — free printable gift tags. I’m warning you now — you can spend hours on her website; don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!! You can print as many tags as you want but please give credit to this gracious artist if you pin or reblog the link. The gift tags are beautiful in their simplicity and I know you’ll love them!
The second goodie I have for you today is this free gift box/envelope generator. It’s mostly for small gifts (the template will print on your at home printer), but it’s really nifty! Have an odd shaped small gift? No problem!!!!! All you have to do is choose the box or envelope design you want, put in the dimensions, download then print the generated pdf template, cut, fold then voila …
What I love most is that this handy little tool can be used all throughout the year!!! For any occasion, for any holiday!!!
Happy gift wrapping!!!!! 😀
What a great tip – I love these tags. Thanks for sharing.
You’re more than welcome. 😀
I love to wrap gifts…I’ve always kind of thought of it as a gift to myself while it’s under the tree:) I get to enjoy a pretty package, and the recipient still gets the gift.
I love the little box. I sometimes give a little something (like some nice chocolate) along with a gift card, and this would be perfect for that!
My cousin would loveeeee you!!!! She’s a gift wrapping fiend! LOLOL!!
I see what you both are saying though; you make me want to do better with my gift wrapping skills. I think I just might follow along with you two and try to do better this year. 😀
