With Florida and Virginia still too close to call, it is being projected that Barack Obama and Joe Biden won the U.S. election on November 6th 2012 to serve a second term as 45th President and Vice President respectively.

While I’m not going to get into who I support, at this point, I pray that there is, this time around, bi-partisian interaction rather than the stalemate that has been going on between the two parties. My prayer is that the elected officials on both sides do what good and right for the populace rather than “lameducking” us to death to prove each party’s viewpoint.

I’m gonna say though, I didn’t expect a win by either candidate with such a large margin.

He definitely wasn’t my choice, but I always respect the person regardless if their views differ from mine. As with any other president, I’ll pray that he, and the rest of our elected officials, make the right decisions.

Agreed. Both of the candidates needed our prayers and respect — no matter who won.

So are a whollllllllllllllllllllllllle lotta people this morning! 😀

I tried to stay up for the concession and acceptance speeches and to see general reactions, but I couldn’t — I packed it in around 12:30 am. I was amazed when I got up this morning and found out that Floridians were online to vote up to 2:30 am this morning! I’m sure the Democratic ones are glad they made the more than extra effort.
