When I started this blog a few years ago it was started as a fashion, cooking, outfits of the day wanna be. I soon realised that I didn’t have the stamina to keep up the way most fashion bloggers do so that went by the wayside. Added to that I’m not exactly the best shopper. After a little bit, I begin the lose it with the volume of merchandise and shoppers around. Aye vey!!! 😛
So after dusting the blog off last year, it changed to a craft blog and quickly became my happy place. I found the crafting community to be very welcoming and for the most part I found a place where I belonged (for want of a different word).
Internal changes have caused me to close my other blog “Metamorphosis” yesterday. Nothing’s wrong, but I’m not the person I was when I started that blog and it was time to let it go. That said, rather than strictly be a craft blog, D’Nali’s changing to a “anything that makes me creative and happy blog”. That might mean, some food, some wine, some books, some chocolate, some makeup, some clothes, some tidbits about where I’m from originally, some shoes, some tradition, some earrings, some decor, some sticks, some hooks and always yarn! 😀
I hope my current readers stick around despite the changes and I hope that the readers from my older blog come in and make themselves comfortable. 🙂
Thank you so much for your encouragement ladies. I really do appreciate it and the fact that you all drop by my little e-space. ❤
Sounds like an exciting change! I love how blogs evolve with their authors. It can be a difficult decision to change tracks, but I think the only way to keep going sometimes is to do what makes you happy. I’m looking forwards to seeing more 🙂
I know what you mean by your blog evolving along with you. I so agree with and even my hobbies have changed with me.. Change is the only constant thing in life! embrace it! I definitely look forward to be here as you go on.. Good luck and do what makes you happy! 🙂
I think that it is cool that your blog is evolving into one that makes you creative and happy. Branching out into new topics is also what I look forward to doing with my blog. Good luck and I am looking forward to reading more.
