After a work week from hell, it was FANTASTIC to come back from Unemployment Court to find out that I’d won a prize from Marie’s giveaways.  It’s crazy!!!  I don’t enter giveaways all willynilly because I DON’T EVER WIN!!!!  😦  But Someone smiled on me yesterday because sure enough … I won this time!!!  😀  Errr … did I ever tell y’all how much I :heart: Erika Knight?!!! OMG!!!! ( said in my teenage voice).  I can’t wait to get it!!!!

I’ll have to do a separate post about Marie, but while you wait for that … go check her out — her crochet and knitting skills are as the kids used to say, “off the chain!!!”   😀

Another Goodbye …

I’m not exactly sure what’s happening to us.  Hard economic times always yields more violence, but how is killing another person going to make your life better?

I have to say another good-bye today.  One of my first level management staff just had her husband gunned down in the Bronx an hour ago while he was walking his mother’s dog.  

As can be imagined, it’s somber at my job right now as we support of co-worker through this loss.

If any of you pray — any prayer of support for this staff member and the surviving family will be greatly appreciated.
